**第一項** この法律の施行の際現に改正前の学校教育法第四条第一項の規定によりされている大学の学部若しくは大学院の研究科又は改正前の同法第六十九条の二第二項の大学の学科の設置廃止その他政令で定める事項についての認可の申請であって、改正後の同法第四条第二項各号の規定に該当するものは、改正後の同項後段の規定によりされた届出とみなす。

An application for approval that has been made pursuant to Article 4, paragraph (1) of the School Education Act before amendment and is pending at the time this Act comes into effect, regarding the establishment and abolition of, or other matters specified by Cabinet Order concerning, a university faculty or an academic unit of a graduate school, or a university department under Article 69-2, paragraph (2) of that Act before amendment, and that falls under any of the items of Article 4, paragraph (2) of that Act after amendment, is deemed to be a notification made pursuant to the latter sentence of that paragraph after amendment.
