**第一項**  都道府県は、その区域内にある学齢児童及び学齢生徒のうち、視覚障害者、聴覚障害者、知的障害者、肢体不自由者又は病弱者で、その障害が第七十五条の政令で定める程度のものを就学させるに必要な特別支援学校を設置しなければならない。

Prefectures must establish special needs education schools that are required to allow for the enrollment of persons with visual impairment, persons with hearing impairment, persons with intellectual disability, persons with physical disability, or persons with health impairment, whose disabilities are of an extent specified by Cabinet Order referred to in Article 75, among school-aged children and school-aged students in its jurisdictional district.
