**第一項**  第三十条第二項、第三十一条、第三十四条、第三十五条及び第三十七条から第四十四条までの規定は、中学校に準用する。この場合において、第三十条第二項中「前項」とあるのは「第四十六条」と、第三十一条中「前条第一項」とあるのは「第四十六条」と読み替えるものとする。

Provisions of Article 30, paragraph (2), Articles 31, 34, 35, and 37 through 44 apply mutatis mutandis to junior high schools. In this case, the term "the preceding paragraph" in Article 30, paragraph (2) is to be replaced with "Article 46," and the term "paragraph (1) of the preceding Article" in Article 31 is to be replaced with "Article 46".
