**第一項**  実施機関たる共済組合等は、毎年度において前条第一項又は第四項の規定により納付した基礎年金拠出金の額を合算した額が法第九十四条の三第一項の規定により計算した当該年度における基礎年金拠出金の額に満たないとき（次項第一号に掲げる場合を除く。）は、厚生労働省令の定めるところにより、その満たない額から当該年度における年金特別会計の基礎年金勘定において生じた運用収入の額（特別会計に関する法律（平成十九年法律第二十三号）第百十四条第一項及び第二項の規定による年金特別会計の国民年金勘定及び厚生年金勘定からの繰入金並びに実施機関たる共済組合等が納付した基礎年金拠出金から生じたものに限る。）に当該実施機関たる共済組合等に係る拠出金按分率を乗じて得た額（次項において「調整額」という。）を控除した額の基礎年金拠出金を翌々年度までに国民年金の管掌者たる政府に納付しなければならない。

When, in a fiscal year, the sum of the amounts of the basic pension contributions paid by a mutual aid association, etc. as an implementing body under paragraph (1) or paragraph (4) of the preceding Article is less than the amount of the basic pension contribution for the relevant fiscal year calculated under Article 94-3, paragraph (1) of the Act (excluding the case set out in item (i) of the following paragraph), the mutual aid association, etc. as an implementing body must, as specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, pay to the government as the administrator of the National Pension, by the fiscal year after next, the basic pension contribution in the amount obtained by deducting, from the shortfall, the amount obtained by multiplying the amount of investment income arising in the relevant fiscal year in the Basic Pension Account of the Pension Special Account (limited to that arising from the transfers from the National Pension Account and the Employees' Pension Account of the Pension Special Account under Article 114, paragraphs (1) and (2) of the Act on Special Accounts (Act No. 23 of 2007) and from the basic pension contributions paid by mutual aid associations, etc. as implementing bodies) by the contribution apportionment rate relating to that mutual aid association, etc. as an implementing body (referred to as the "adjustment amount" in the following paragraph).
