**第一項**  連合会は、第四十五条第五項（第五十二条第六項、第五十二条の二第三項、第五十三条第三項及び第五十四条の二第十二項において準用する場合を含む。）の規定により市町村及び組合から委託を受けて行う療養の給付に要する費用並びに入院時食事療養費、入院時生活療養費、保険外併用療養費及び訪問看護療養費の請求に関する審査及び支払の業務を行う。

A Federation conducts the operations of examination and payment, performed as entrusted by Municipalities and Societies pursuant to the provisions of Article 45, paragraph (5) (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 52, paragraph (6), Article 52-2, paragraph (3), Article 53, paragraph (3) and Article 54-2, paragraph (12)), concerning claims for the expenses required for benefits for medical treatment and for expenses for Dietary Treatment for inpatients, expenses for Living Support for inpatients, medical expenses combined with treatment outside insurance coverage and medical expenses for home-nursing.
