**第一項** 市町村長（地方自治法第二百五十二条の十九第一項の指定都市にあつては、区長又は総合区長とする。）は、当該市町村の条例で定めるところにより、市町村若しくは組合又は保険給付を受ける者に対し、被保険者又は被保険者であつた者の戸籍に関し、無料で証明を行うことができる。
