**第二項**  この法律の施行前に医師免許を受けた者については、この法律による改正後の医師法第三章の二の規定は適用しない。この法律の施行前に行なわれた医師国家試験に合格した者又は国民医療法施行令の一部を改正する勅令（昭和二十一年勅令第四百二号）附則第二項の規定に該当する者であつて、この法律の施行後医師免許を受けたものについても、同様とする。

The provisions of Chapter III-2 of the Medical Practitioners' Act as amended by this Act do not apply to a person who received a medical practitioner's license before this Act comes into effect. The same applies to a person who passed the national examination for medical practitioners held before this Act comes into effect, or who falls under the provisions of paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Imperial Ordinance Partially Amending the Order for Enforcement of the National Medical Care Act (Imperial Ordinance No. 402 of 1946), and who received a medical practitioner's license after this Act comes into effect.
