**第一項**  被保険者又は保険給付を受けるべき者が、正当な理由がなくて第百九十七条第二項の規定に違反して、申出をせず、若しくは虚偽の申出をし、届出をせず、若しくは虚偽の届出をし、又は文書の提出を怠ったときは、十万円以下の過料に処する。

An insured person or person to be granted insurance benefits who fails to give a notification or gives a false notification in violation of the provisions of Article 197, paragraph (2), or fails to submit documents without justifiable grounds, is subject to a civil fine of not more than 100,000 yen.
