### 第一条（施行期日） — Effective Date

**第一項**  この法律は公布の日から施行する。ただし、第四条及び第五条の規定は、同日から起算して三月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。

This Act comes into effect on the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions of Article 4 and Article 5 come into effect on the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding three months counting from that date.

**第一項**  第五条の規定の施行の際現に同条の規定による改正前の外国為替及び外国貿易管理法附則第三条第一項の規定によりされている届出に係る株式等の取得については、なお従前の例による。

**第一項**  この法律の施行前にした行為及び前二条の規定によりなお従前の例によることとされる行為に係るこの法律の施行後にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。

With regard to the application of penal provisions to acts committed before this Act comes into effect and to acts committed after this Act comes into effect in relation to acts for which the provisions then in force are to continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of the preceding two Articles, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
