**第一項**  この法律は、平成十四年四月一日から施行する。ただし、第十八条のうち証券取引法第百六十六条第二項第一号イ中「ニ」を「ヘ」に改める改正規定、同項第三号の改正規定及び同条第四項の改正規定は、公布の日から施行する。

This Act comes into effect on April 1, 2002; provided, however, that, of Article 18, the provisions amending "(d)" to "(f)" in Article 166, paragraph (2), item (i), (a) of the Securities and Exchange Act, the provisions amending item (iii) of that paragraph, and the provisions amending paragraph (4) of that Article come into effect as of the date of promulgation.
