  **第一項**  都道府県労働局長は、職業安定主管局長の指揮監督を受け、この法律の施行に関する事項について、公共職業安定所の業務の連絡統一に関する業務をつかさどり、所属の職員及び公共職業安定所長を指揮監督する。

  The prefectural labor directors, under the direction and supervision of the Director-General of the main employment security bureau, oversee operations concerning communication and coordination in the functions operations of public employment security offices, and direct and supervise personnel under their jurisdiction and the chiefs of public employment security offices. They also direct and supervise their subordinate staff and the heads of public employment security officers with respect to matters related to the enforcement of this Act.
