**第一項**  国は、障害者の能力に適合する職業、その就業上必要な作業設備及び作業補助具その他障害者の雇用の促進及びその職業の安定に関し必要な事項について、調査、研究及び資料の整備に努めるものとする。

The national government is to endeavor to conduct surveys, do research, and prepare materials concerning work that is suited to the abilities of persons with disabilities, the work equipment and work assist tools that they need on the job, and other things that are necessary in connection with facilitating the employment of persons with disabilities and stabilizing employment for them.
