### 第七十五条（失業の認定） — Recognition of Unemployment

  **第一項**  法第四十五条の規定に該当する者が受ける法第四十七条第一項の失業していることについての認定（以下この節において「失業の認定」という。）は、公共職業安定所において、日々その日について行うものとする。この場合において、公共職業安定所長は、当該認定を受けようとする者の求職活動の内容を確認するものとする。

  The certification of unemployment under Article 47, paragraph (1) of the Act that a person who falls under Article 45 of the Act receives (hereinafter in this Section referred to as "recognition of unemployment") is to be conducted at the Public Employment Security Office daily for that day. In this case, the Chief of the Public Employment Security Office is to confirm the content of the job-seeking activities of the person who intends to receive that recognition.

  **第五項**  第一項から第三項までの規定により失業の認定を受けようとする者は、公共職業安定所に出頭し、被保険者手帳を提出するとともに、当該失業の認定に係る失業の日がその日の属する週における日雇労働求職者給付金の支給を受けるべき最初の日であるときは、その週においてその日前に職業に就かなかつた日があることを公共職業安定所長に届け出なければならない。この場合において、第一条第五項第四号の職業安定局長が定める者にあつては、職業安定局長が定める証明書を添えなければならない。

  A person who intends to receive recognition of unemployment pursuant to the provisions of paragraphs (1) through (3) must appear at the Public Employment Security Office, submit the insurance record book, and, where the day of unemployment pertaining to that recognition is the first day in the week containing that day on which the person is to receive payment of the job applicant benefits for day workers, notify the Chief of the Public Employment Security Office that there was a day before that day in that week on which the person did not take up employment. In this case, a person specified by the Director-General of the Employment Security Bureau under Article 1, paragraph (5), item (iv) must attach the certificate specified by the Director-General of the Employment Security Bureau.
