### 第一条（施行期日） — Effective Date

**第一項**  この法律は、公布の日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。

This Act comes into effect on the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect on the dates specified in those items:

**第一項**  政府は、この法律の施行後適当な時期において、第一条及び第二条の規定による改正後の規定の施行の状況について検討を加え、必要があると認めるときは、その結果に基づいて必要な措置を講ずるものとする。

**第一項**  第一条の規定による改正後の災害対策基本法（附則第五条において「新災害対策基本法」という。）第百二条の規定は、平成二十五年四月一日以後に発生した同条第一項に規定する災害について適用する。

The provisions of Article 102 of the Basic Act on Disaster Management as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (referred to as the "New Basic Act on Disaster Management" in Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions) apply to a disaster prescribed in paragraph (1) of that Article that occurred on or after April 1, 2013.
