**第一項**  この法律又はこの法律に基づく命令に規定する期間の計算については、この法律に別段の規定がある場合を除くほか、民法（明治二十九年法律第八十九号）の期間に関する規定を準用する。

Unless otherwise provided for in this Act, the provisions of the Civil Code (Act No. 89 of 1896) concerning periods of time apply mutatis mutandis to the calculation of the periods of time prescribed in this Act and orders based on this Act.
