**第一項** 改正後の著作権法（次条において「新法」という。）第五十四条第一項の規定は、この法律の施行の際現に改正前の著作権法による著作権が存する映画の著作物について適用し、この法律の施行の際現に改正前の著作権法による著作権が消滅している映画の著作物については、なお従前の例による。

The provisions of Article 54, paragraph (1) of the post-amendment Copyright Act (referred to as "the new Act" in the following Article) apply to a cinematographic work for which a copyright under the pre-amendment Copyright Act exists at the time this Act comes into effect; and prior laws continue to govern a cinematographic work for which the copyright under the pre-amendment Copyright Act has expired as of the time this Act comes into effect.
