**第一項** この法律の施行前に新株の発行の決議があつた場合においては、その新株の発行に関しては、この法律の施行後も、なお従前の例による。この法律の施行前に株式の分割の決議があつた場合のその株式の分割に関しても、同様とする。

If a resolution on the issue of new shares was made before this Act comes into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern that issue of new shares, even after this Act comes into effect; the same applies to a share split if a resolution on that share split was made before this Act comes into effect.
