**第一項**  児童手当の支給要件に該当する者（第四条第一項第一号から第三号までに係るものに限る。以下「一般受給資格者」という。）は、児童手当の支給を受けようとするときは、その受給資格及び児童手当の額について、内閣府令で定めるところにより、住所地（一般受給資格者が未成年後見人であり、かつ、法人である場合にあつては、主たる事務所の所在地とする。）の市町村長（特別区の区長を含む。以下同じ。）の認定を受けなければならない。
