**第一項**  外国銀行代理銀行は、内閣府令で定めるところにより、その所属外国銀行の業務又は財産の状況に関する事項の顧客への説明その他の当該外国銀行代理銀行が営む外国銀行代理業務の健全かつ適切な運営を確保するための措置を講じなければならない。

Pursuant to the provisions of Cabinet Office Order, a foreign bank's agent bank must explain to customers the particulars of the status of business and property of its principal foreign bank, and take other measures for ensuring the sound and appropriate management of the foreign bank agency services performed by that foreign bank's agent bank.
