**第一項**  配偶者からの暴力に係る被害者の保護、捜査、裁判等に職務上関係のある者（次項において「職務関係者」という。）は、その職務を行うに当たり、被害者の心身の状況、その置かれている環境等を踏まえ、被害者の国籍、障害の有無等を問わずその人権を尊重するとともに、その安全の確保及び秘密の保持に十分な配慮をしなければならない。

Persons with duties related to the protection of victims, investigations, and judicial decisions pertaining to spousal violence (referred to as "related officials" in the following paragraph) must, in the performance of their duties, take into consideration the psychological and physical circumstances of the victims and the environment, etc. in which they are placed, respect their human rights regardless of their nationality, disabilities, etc., and give due consideration to ensuring their safety and protecting their privacy.
