### 第二十八条（国の負担及び補助） — (Expenses Borne or Subsidized by the National Government)

**第一項**  国は、政令の定めるところにより、都道府県が前条第一項の規定により支弁した費用のうち、同項第一号及び第二号に掲げるものについては、その十分の五を負担するものとする。

Pursuant to the provisions of a Cabinet Order, the national government is to bear one-half of the amount of the expenses listed in items (i) and (ii) of paragraph (1) of the preceding Article that have been paid by prefectures pursuant to the provisions of the same paragraph.

**第二項**  国は、予算の範囲内において、次の各号に掲げる費用の十分の五以内を補助することができる。
