**第一項** この法律（第八十五条及び第百条を除く。）及び他の法令（教育公務員特例法（昭和二十四年法律第一号）及び当該法令に特別の定めのあるものを除く。）において、大学の学部には第八十五条ただし書に規定する組織を含み、大学の大学院の研究科には第百条ただし書に規定する組織を含むものとする。

In this Act (except Articles 85 and 100) and other laws and regulations (except as specially prescribed by the Special Rules for the Public Educational Personnel and Staff Act (Act No. 1 of 1949) and its relevant laws and regulations), university faculties are to include organizations provided for in the proviso of Article 85, and academic units of graduate school are to include organizations provided for in the proviso of Article 100.
