**第一項**  この法律は、平成十七年十二月三十一日までの間において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、第一条中道路運送車両法第三十六条の二の改正規定、同法第六章の次に一章を加える改正規定及び同法第百条第一項の改正規定は、公布の日から起算して一年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。

This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order on or before December 31, 2005; provided, however, that the provisions in Article 1 amending Article 36-2 of the Road Transport Vehicle Act, the provisions adding a chapter after Chapter VI of that Act, and the provisions amending Article 100, paragraph (1) of that Act come into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year from the date of promulgation.

**第一項**  この法律の施行前に第一条の規定による改正前の道路運送車両法（以下「旧道路運送車両法」という。）第三十三条第一項の規定により自動車（国土交通省令で定めるものを除く。）の譲受人に譲渡証明書を交付した者が、政令で定めるところにより、第一条の規定による改正後の道路運送車両法（以下「新道路運送車両法」という。）第七条第一項の申請に係る当該自動車の譲受人の承諾を得て、当該譲渡証明書に記載されていた事項を電磁的方法により登録情報処理機関に提供したときは、新道路運送車両法第三十三条第四項の規定により同項に規定する事項の提供がされたものとみなす。

If a person who, before the enforcement of this Act, delivered a certificate of transfer to the transferee of a motor vehicle (excluding those specified by an Order of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) pursuant to the provisions of Article 33, paragraph (1) of the Road Transport Vehicle Act prior to amendment by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "Former Road Transport Vehicle Act") has, as provided by Cabinet Order, with the consent of the transferee of that motor vehicle regarding the application under Article 7, paragraph (1) of the Road Transport Vehicle Act as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "New Road Transport Vehicle Act"), provided the matters stated in that certificate of transfer to a registered information processing body by electronic or magnetic means, the provision of the matters prescribed in Article 33, paragraph (4) of the New Road Transport Vehicle Act is deemed to have been made pursuant to the provisions of that paragraph.

**第一項**  附則第一条ただし書に規定する規定（道路運送車両法第三十六条の二の改正規定に限る。以下同じ。）の施行の際現に旧道路運送車両法第三十六条の二第一項の許可（以下この項において「旧許可」という。）を受けている者は、附則第一条ただし書の政令で定める日（以下この条において「一部施行日」という。）に新道路運送車両法第三十六条の二第一項の許可（以下この項において「新許可」という。）を受けた者とみなす。この場合において、当該新許可を受けた者とみなされる者に係る新許可の有効期間は、一部施行日におけるその者に係る旧許可の有効期間の残存期間のうち最も長い残存期間と同一の期間とする。
