**第一項**  一般社団法人又は一般財団法人であつて、その名称中に自動車整備振興会の文字を用いるものは、自動車の整備に関する設備の改善及び技術の向上を促進し、並びに自動車の整備事業の業務の適正な運営を確保するため、次に掲げる事業を行うことを目的とするものでなければならない。

A general incorporated association or general incorporated foundation that uses the words "Motor Vehicle Maintenance Promotion Association" in its name must have as its purpose the conduct of the following activities in order to promote the improvement of facilities and technology relating to the maintenance of motor vehicles and to ensure the proper operation of the motor vehicle maintenance business:
