**第一項**  民生委員法（昭和二十三年法律第百九十八号）に定める民生委員は、この法律の施行について、市町村長、福祉事務所長又は社会福祉主事の事務の執行に協力するものとする。

A welfare commissioner prescribed in the Welfare Commissioners Act (Act No. 198 of 1948) shall assist in the execution of the affairs of a municipal mayor, welfare office director or social welfare officer with regard to the enforcement of this Act.
