  **第一項**  地方公共団体の機関は、条例で定めるところにより、第三章第三節の施策を講ずる場合その他の場合において、個人情報の適正な取扱いを確保するため専門的な知見に基づく意見を聴くことが特に必要であると認めるときは、審議会その他の合議制の機関に諮問することができる。

  When implementing measures referred to in Section 3 of Chapter III, a local government organ may consult a council or other collegial body as prescribed by local ordinance, if it is found necessary to hear the opinion based on expertise in order to ensure the proper handling of personal information.
