**第一項**  この法律中「都道府県知事」とあるのは、その区域が二以上の都道府県の区域にまたがる連合会については、「厚生労働大臣」と読み替えるものとする。

In this Act, the term "a prefectural governor" or "the prefectural governor" shall be deemed to be replaced with "the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare" in the case of a Federation whose district extends over the area of two or more prefectures.
