### 第二条（病床の種別の変更に係る経過措置） — Transitional Measures Concerning the Change of Bed Classifications

**第一項**  この法律の施行の際現に第一条の規定による改正前の医療法（以下「旧医療法」という。）第七条第一項の許可を受けて病院を開設している者（同条第二項に規定するその他の病床（以下「旧その他の病床」という。）を有する病院を開設している者に限る。）は、この法律の施行の日から二年六月を経過する日までの間に、厚生労働省令で定めるところにより、当該病院の旧その他の病床について、第一条の規定による改正後の医療法（以下「新医療法」という。）第七条第二項第四号又は第五号に規定する病床の種別ごとの病床数その他の厚生労働省令で定める事項を届け出なければならない。

A person who, at the time this Act comes into effect, has established a hospital having obtained the permission under Article 7, paragraph (1) of the Medical Care Act before the revision by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "Former Medical Care Act") (limited to a person who has established a hospital having the other beds prescribed in paragraph (2) of that Article (hereinafter referred to as "former other beds")) must, by the day on which two years and six months have elapsed from the date of enforcement of this Act, in accordance with the provisions of an Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, notify, with regard to the former other beds of that hospital, the number of beds for each bed classification prescribed in Article 7, paragraph (2), item (iv) or (v) of the Medical Care Act after the revision by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "New Medical Care Act") and other particulars specified by an Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
