**第一項**  この法律は、消費者庁及び消費者委員会設置法（平成二十一年法律第四十八号）の施行の日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。

This Act comes into effect as of the date on which the Act for Establishment of the Consumer Affairs Agency and the Consumer Commission (Act No. 48 of 2009) comes into effect; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following item come into effect as of the date specified in that item.
