**第一項** この政令は、幹線道路の沿道の整備に関する法律等の一部を改正する法律（平成八年法律第四十八号）の施行の日から施行する。ただし、第一条中租税特別措置法施行令第二十六条の十六の改正規定及び第二条の規定並びに附則第三条及び第五条の規定は、公布の日から施行する。

This Cabinet Order comes into effect as of the day of enforcement of the Act Partially Amending the Act on Improvement of Areas Along Trunk Roads, etc. (Act No. 48 of 1996); provided, however, that the provisions amending Article 26-16 of the Order for Enforcement of the Act on Special Measures Concerning Taxation in Article 1, the provisions of Article 2, and the provisions of Articles 3 and 5 of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect as of the day of promulgation.
