**第一項**  この省令の施行の日前又はこの省令の施行の日以後に出入国管理及び難民認定法の一部を改正する法律（平成二十六年法律第七十四号。以下「改正法」という。）による改正前の出入国管理及び難民認定法（以下「旧法」という。）別表第一の五の表の下欄（ニに係る部分に限る。）に掲げる活動のうち次の各号に掲げるものを行う者としての同表の上欄の在留資格をもって本邦に在留していた外国人は、第二条第一項第一号の適用については、それぞれ当該各号に掲げる者とみなす。

A foreign national who, before the date of enforcement of this Ministerial Order or on or after that date, was staying in Japan with the status of residence in the left-hand column of the Appended Table I(5) of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act as it was before the amendment by the Act Partially Amending the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act (Act No. 74 of 2014; hereinafter referred to as the "Amending Act") (hereinafter referred to as the "Former Act") as a person who engages in any of the activities set out in the following items among the activities listed in the right-hand column of that table (limited to the part pertaining to (d)) is deemed, for the purpose of the application of Article 2, paragraph (1), item (i), to be the person set out in the respective item.
