**第一項** 新健保法第五十条第二項及び第六十九条の十八第一項の規定は、分べんの日がこの法律の施行の日（以下「施行日」という。）以後である被保険者及び被保険者であった者に支給する出産手当金について適用し、分べんの日が施行日前である被保険者及び被保険者であった者に支給する出産手当金については、なお従前の例による。

The provisions of Article 50, paragraph (2) and Article 69-18, paragraph (1) of the Revised Health Insurance Act apply to childbirth allowance paid to insured persons and former insured persons whose date of delivery is on or after the date of enforcement of this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date"), and with regard to childbirth allowance paid to insured persons and former insured persons whose date of delivery is before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
