**第一項**  次の各号のいずれかに掲げる違反があつた場合には、その違反行為をした登録検査機関の役員又は職員は、五十万円以下の罰金に処する。

When a violation stated in any of the following items has been committed, the officer or the employee of a registered conformity assessment body who has committed the violation is punished by a fine not exceeding 500 thousand yen:

  **一**  第三十八条の許可を受けないで製品検査の業務の全部を廃止したとき。

  when they have abolished all the operations for product inspections without obtaining the approval referred to in Article 38;

  **二**  第四十四条の規定に違反して同条に規定する事項の記載をせず、虚偽の記載をし、又は帳簿を保存しなかつたとき。

  when they have failed to state the matters prescribed in Article 44, have made a false statement, or have failed to preserve books, in violation of that Article;

  **三**  第四十七条第一項の規定による報告をせず、又は虚偽の報告をしたとき。

  when they have failed to make a report under the provisions of Article 47, paragraph (1) or have made a false report;

  **四**  第四十七条第一項の規定による検査を拒み、妨げ、若しくは忌避し、又は同項の規定による質問に対して答弁をせず、若しくは虚偽の答弁をしたとき。
