**第一項**  この法律の規定による処分に係る聴聞は、公開して行う。ただし、聴聞される者から非公開の申出があつたとき（非公開を相当とする理由があると認められるときに限る。）、又は公益上必要があると認めるときは、この限りでない。

Hearings involving a disposition under the provisions of this Act are opened to the public; provided, however, that this does not apply if the person subject to the hearing requests that the hearing be closed to the public (but only if it is found that there are reasonable grounds for closing the hearing to the public), or if this is found to be necessary in the public interest.
