**第一項** 政府は、老人の心身の特性に応じた適切な医療が行われるよう、老人が老人保健法第二十五条第三項に規定する保険医療機関等及び同法第六条第四項に規定する老人保健施設について受ける医療その他のサービスの質に関する評価方法の研究に努めるとともに、同法第二十五条の規定により行われる医療に要する費用の額の包括的な算定等当該費用の額の算定の在り方について検討を行い、その結果に基づいて所要の措置を講ずるものとする。
