**第一項**  国保連合会について国民健康保険法第百六条及び第百八条の規定を適用する場合において、これらの規定中「事業」とあるのは、「事業（高齢者の医療の確保に関する法律（昭和五十七年法律第八十号）第百五十六条に規定する高齢者医療関係業務を含む。）」とする。

When the provisions of Articles 106 and 108 of the National Health Insurance Act are applied to NHI federations, the term "services" in these provisions is deemed to be replaced with "services (including medical services for the elderly as prescribed in Article 156 of the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People (Act No. 80 of 1982))".
