  **第一項**  公共職業安定所は、高年齢者等の再就職の促進等を図るため、高年齢者等の雇用の機会が確保されるように求人の開拓等を行うとともに、高年齢者等に係る求人及び求職に関する情報を収集し、並びに高年齢者等である求職者及び事業主に対して提供するように努めるものとする。

  For the purpose of facilitating or otherwise promoting the re-employment of elderly persons, public employment security offices are to search for job openings in order to secure employment opportunities for elderly persons and others and are to also strive to collect information concerning job openings and job applications related to elderly persons and others and to provide such information to elderly persons and others seeking jobs and to employers.
