**第一項**  この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年六月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。

This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year and six months from the date of promulgation.

The provisions of this Act (excluding penal provisions) also apply to matters that arose before this Act comes into effect, except as otherwise provided by other Acts.

**第三項**  第六条第三項の規定は、この法律の施行の際現にその商号中に合同会社であると誤認されるおそれのある文字を用いている場合における会社法の施行に伴う関係法律の整備等に関する法律（平成十七年法律第八十七号）第三条第二項に規定する特例有限会社、同法第六十六条第一項前段の規定により存続する株式会社又は同条第三項前段の規定により存続する合名会社若しくは合資会社については、この法律の施行の日から起算して六月間（これらの会社が当該期間内に商号の変更をした場合にあっては、当該商号の変更をするまでの期間）は、適用しない。

The provisions of Article 6, paragraph (3) do not apply, for six months from the day on which this Act comes into effect (or, if these companies change their trade names within that period, for the period until they change their trade names), to a special limited liability company prescribed in Article 3, paragraph (2) of the Act on the Arrangement of Relevant Acts Incidental to the Enforcement of the Companies Act (Act No. 87 of 2005), a stock company that continues to exist pursuant to the provisions of the first sentence of Article 66, paragraph (1) of that Act, or a general partnership company or limited partnership company that continues to exist pursuant to the provisions of the first sentence of paragraph (3) of that Article, in the case where, at the time this Act comes into effect, it actually uses in its trade name any word that is likely to cause it to be mistaken for a limited liability company.
