**第一項** この法律は、公布の日から起算して二十日を経過した日から施行する。ただし、附則第三条の規定は、犯罪被害者等の権利利益の保護を図るための刑事訴訟法等の一部を改正する法律（平成十九年法律第九十五号）の施行の日又はこの法律の施行の日のいずれか遅い日から施行する。

This Act comes into effect as of the day on which 20 days have elapsed from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions of Article 3 of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect as of the later of the date of enforcement of the Act Partially Amending the Code of Criminal Procedure, etc. for the Protection of the Rights and Interests of Victims of Crime, etc. (Act No. 95 of 2007) or the date of enforcement of this Act.
