**第一項**  この法律は、平成十二年四月一日から施行する。ただし、第九百六十九条、第九百七十二条、第九百七十六条及び第九百七十九条の改正規定、第九百六十九条の次に一条を加える改正規定並びに次条の規定は、公布の日から起算して一月を経過した日から施行する。

This Act comes into effect as of April 1, 2000; provided, however, that the provisions amending Articles 969, 972, 976 and 979, the provisions adding one Article after Article 969, and the provisions of the following Article come into effect as of the day on which one month has elapsed from the date of promulgation.
