    **第一項**  相続人が相続の承認又は放棄をしないで死亡したときは、前条第一項の期間は、その者の相続人が自己のために相続の開始があったことを知った時から起算する。

    If an heir dies without having accepted or renounced the succession, the period referred to in paragraph (1) of the preceding Article is calculated from the time that the heir of the deceased heir learns that the succession has opened to the living heir.
