    **第一項**  相続人その他の利害関係人は、遺言執行者に対し、相当の期間を定めて、その期間内に就職を承諾するかどうかを確答すべき旨の催告をすることができる。この場合において、遺言執行者が、その期間内に相続人に対して確答をしないときは、就職を承諾したものとみなす。

    An heir or other interested party may demand the executor to answer definitively as to whether the executor consents to act as such within a reasonable period of time specified by the heir or interested party. In such a case, if the executor does not answer the heir definitively within that period, the executor is deemed to consent to act as such.
