**第一項**  新銀行法第十三条の二（新長期信用銀行法第十七条等において準用する場合を含む。）の規定は、銀行等が施行日以後にする取引又は行為について適用し、銀行等が施行日前にした取引又は行為については、なお従前の例による。

The provisions of Article 13-2 of the new Banking Act (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 17, etc. of the new Long-Term Credit Bank Act) apply to a transaction or action performed by a bank, etc. on or after the effective date, and prior laws continue to govern the transaction or action performed by a bank, etc. before the effective date.
