**第一項** 電子決済等取扱業者は、第二条第十七項各号に掲げる行為を行うときは、内閣府令で定める場合を除き、あらかじめ、顧客に対し、次に掲げる事項を明らかにしなければならない。

**第二項** 電子決済等取扱業者は、電子決済等取扱業に関し、内閣府令で定めるところにより、電子決済等取扱業と銀行が営む業務との誤認を防止するための情報の顧客への提供、電子決済等取扱業に関して取得した顧客に関する情報の適正な取扱い及び安全管理、電子決済等取扱業の業務の一部を第三者に委託する場合における当該業務の的確な遂行その他の健全かつ適切な運営を確保するための措置を講じなければならない。

An electronic payment handling service provider, pursuant to the provisions of Cabinet Office Order, must take measures of providing customers with information to prevent them from mistaking electronic payment handling services for the services conducted by banks, for ensuring the proper handling and safe control of the information on customers that the electronic payment handling service provider has acquired in connection with the electronic payment handling services, for ensuring the precise execution of electronic payment handling services when the electronic payment handling service provider entrusts a part of the services to a third party, and take other measures for ensuring the sound and appropriate management of electronic payment handling services.
